1st story: Rides in the shadows
Former rural inhabitants respectful of the memory of their ancestors, Daiki’s family makes a point of returning each year to the family grave. Thrilled from an early age at the thought of moving away from the suffocating suburbs of Tokyo, the high school student’s once positive momentum has given way to dark bitterness. And for good reason: her first love in the person of Itoe, her aunt, got married since the boy was in elementary school, forcing her to be away from the funeral home with the rest of the family. These beautiful people are supposed to meet occasionally during the summer with the grandfather, the only member who wanted to stay away from city life. While Daiki is on the verge of coming of age, it was not his joy to finally find his aunty, still as beautiful as the first day.

2nd story: Love in kindergarten
Currently a recent high school student, Yukito has never forgotten the years spent in the nursery school in her neighborhood, alongside her forty-something teacher Kotomi Takano, who has always supported her in her difficulties integrating into the community. The fact that the young lady resides near the young man’s home helps to maintain the youthful flame animating his heart.
