Riki gets drunk at a bar while thinking about his arrival at his first meeting with Iason three years ago. Iason caught him doing a pick pocket in an upscale neighborhood. He let him go without looking further, which annoyed Riki, hating being indebted. He wanted to repay his debt in bed with him, Iason only touched him without going any further. Three months later, Riki hired Katze as a delivery man. He carried out his work seriously, even when it came to delivering teenagers transformed into sexual objects by the Lanaya Hugo store, something that Riki hated.

One evening on his way home from work, he saw Iason in his vehicle. He followed him and came to a large room with an aquarium under his feet, containing a mermaid. The Space Between (2012) is a remake of old OAVs released twenty years earlier, themselves adapted from the original novel by Rieko Yoshihara. They tell the story of a young man, emerging from the lowlands who wanted to rise from his condition in a society with an ultra-hierarchical structure between social castes. Characters with very polished character design, dreamy masculine appearances, very sensual erotic scenes not too numerous to entice the public. Two protagonists perfectly meeting the Seme/Uke criterion (dominant/dominated) with a hint of rebellion, an SM side to make things even more frenzied.
