Riki, for having had a forbidden affair with Mimea, is held captive and punished by his master Iason Mink. Mimea, for her part, is forcibly assigned by her master Raoul to another partner, Jana. For two years, Iason subjected him to sexual abuse to subdue him. When he believes he has destroyed his will, Riki attempts an escape. Daryl, a « furniture » who serves the Blondies, observes him. Iason had caused a scandal throughout the town of Tanagura for falling in love with his pet, who was of a lower social rank than the Blondies.

Daryl, himself from a lower social background, decides to secretly help Riki get out by opening the door to the outside of Eos Tower. However, the ring attached to Riki means that he is immediately spotted and caught. The Blondie Eminences reunite and conclude that Riki was only able to escape with outside help. They decide to have the Furniture examined to detect harmful elements. When Daryl’s turn comes, he immediately admits to having hacked the security system alone to allow Riki to get out, eager to see him regain his freedom.

The Space Between (2012) is a remake of old OAVs released twenty years earlier, themselves adapted from the original novel by Rieko Yoshihara. They tell the story of a young man, emerging from the lowlands who wanted to rise from his condition in a society with an ultra-hierarchical structure between social castes. Characters with very polished character design, dreamy masculine appearances, very sensual erotic scenes not too numerous to entice the public. Two protagonists perfectly meeting the Seme/Uke criterion (dominant/dominated) with a hint of rebellion, an SM side to make things even more frenzied.
