Kouhei is a high school student suffering from narcolepsy. Searching every day for a place to rest during the lunch break, he decides to settle in the greenhouse on the roof of his faculty. When he wakes up, he is greeted by a pretty girl named Yoake. Never coming to class, she prefers to go to the greenhouse. Intrigued by the obscure reasons that motivate her, Kouhei will find himself in spite of himself facing a real free electron, in the feminine.

High school student Kozuya Kouhei decides to take a nap in an abandoned greenhouse near his high school. Seemingly silent, without a living soul, our hero wakes up with a sleeping girl on his chest. Kumakura Yoake is the nap angel. She chairs a garden club with a variety of activities, such as gardening and afternoon naps. Kouhei’s passion for Yoake’s free nature grows as soon as he visits the club. And it’s just a matter of time before he tells Yoake how he really feels about her.

Soikano: Gyutto Dakishimete is a visual adaptation based on a visual novel, which emphasizes character development, story and a couple. Of course, by default, a visual novel adaptation is generally bad, as you can’t record all of the dialogue in a single episode. But the argument is, what’s wrong with a targeted experience? While not perfect, he tells a story well, developed enough that eventual sex is deserved, and Yoake doesn’t spread his legs for no apparent reason for Kouhei. Add to that the fact that it is beautifully animated, and has an attractive artistic style. It can pass for a mid-budget TV anime.
