The story begins when Shouji Fujimoto, a widowed single father who aspires to become a picture book author, meets Minami Takasaki, a singing idol from the educational children’s show Oneesan to Utaou! (Let’s Sing Along With Our Songstress!), outside of work. As a children’s TV idol, Minami is alone in her private life and not allowed to fall in love. Any scandal is absolutely forbidden. Thus begins an adult love story with a singer.

She’s a singer on a children’s TV show, but her real self is a lonely single woman who can’t freely enjoy romance in her private life.
