The modern era. Although stories of strange things have existed throughout history, things lurk in the night even in modern cities today. A trio of female vampires normally only care about blood drinking and occasional lesbian interactions with each other. They suddenly find themselves face to face with gangs of demonic “beasts” who ravage and carve their way through the population. As time goes on, things heat up in more ways than one, as the war begins again between the vampires and the beasts.

In the violent city of Tokyo, Man and Beast fight for survival as demonic beasts strive to seduce and enslave any women who cross their path. Born into a family of vampires, 19-year-old Mina has sworn to hunt down and destroy all sex-hungry beasts. With her friends and her beast hunter sword, Mina must find a human-shaped beast that has infiltrated her university. A new woman has appeared at 19-year-old Beast Hunter Mina’s middle school. She seems to be the daughter of a rich industrialist, but deep inside her lies an evil invisible to human eyes.

Sex Demon Metropolis feels like a parody version of Legend of the Overfiend and slapstick comedy gags from the 90s. Episode 1 is really funny, self-aware, and definitely worth watching. The animation budget practically ceased to exist. The story required destruction and fights for the end of the world, we get reused animations, mouth flaps and mother-of-pearl quality drawings. Only minus is that back story and characters back stories are not so well covered. For anyone who loves supernatural fights including demons, vampires and sex and sex related humor, I would recommend it.
