After his parents died in an accident, Teppei Kobayashi was adopted by his grandfather, Isshin Arima. After taking his grandfather’s name, Teppei becomes the heir of the Arima company, one of the main forces of Japanese industry. As he inherits an industrial empire, he will enter one of the most prestigious international schools in Japan. There, Teppei finds himself surrounded by women of nobility and status. He quickly falls in love with Sylvia van Hossen, a European princess and fencing master. But Sylvia is aloof and difficult to break through. Her maid, Yuu Fujikura, seems to have her own agenda. Is his romance with Sylvia doomed?

Kobayashi Teppei is an ordinary student. Everything suddenly changed when he lost both parents in an accident. His grandfather, Arima Isshin, appears before him. He demands that he be the successor of his famous family which has an influence on the entire Japanese economy. Begins for him an aristocratic life which he hears about only in the tales. A magnificent house, exceptional servants. And life in the richest school in Japan, « Syuuhou Academy ». Everything is different from before and he is still troubled by his daily life.

There’s not much to complain about technically with Princess Lover. Some of the backgrounds are really gorgeous, and an awesome level of detail that you rarely see in a hentai series. The characters themselves are also quite unique, with very angular features, especially Sylvia’s hair that looks like it could cut you at any moment. Both episodes focus on Sylvia and Teppei, as the latter attempts to foster a relationship based on sexual desire. She succumbs quickly, but reluctantly, to the pleasure her body has discovered.
