Hayasaka Akihito is a student at Saint Francesca Academy, a high school which, although mixed, has a large majority of girls among its students. His little sister Umi joined him at the prestigious school this year. One morning when she comes to wake up her groundhog brother, the young girl is bowled over by Akihito’s silly joke about a possible incestuous relationship between them. In class, the young man confides in his friends Yuika and Riru who overwhelm him with admonitions. Fortunately, our hero will find solace in Kisaya, a senpai of the Kendo club.

Harukoi Otome revolves around protagonist Akihito Hayasaka, a sophomore high school student. The high school he attends at St. Francesca Academy was once a girls’ school and still has a high percentage of students. Akihito’s younger sister (Umi Hayasaka) and her childhood friend (Yuika Serizawa) are also students there. Akihito meets many girls there and befriends them.
