Don’t call me Amy! 01 English Sub

It’s the story of a high school girl named Emi, who fell in love with her younger half-brother. Finally, on her eighteenth birthday, she decides to tell him her feelings. But suddenly debt collectors arrive and confiscate everything your father owned. Tomomi, Emi’s half-brother, disappears. Now Emi must find her one true love and confess her feelings to him. But during her journey, Emi discovers a different personality within herself. This other person is called Amy. While the real Emi is a shy and modest girl, her role as Amy only cares about one thing: making her wildest sexual fantasies come true.

Don’t call me Amy!, an anime so confusing that even the characters couldn’t remember the character’s name. The story seems very bizarre and rather inconclusive. The main character is Emi, she really wants you to know that her name is not Amy. Emi has a habit of dreaming about her twin brother in various sexual fantasies which dominate the first episode. We also see Emi panicking at the number of girls who are interested in her brother and she is determined to make sure none of them do.

Things start to get weird from this point on. The school principal challenges Emi about her fantasies, and we also see Emi’s deceased father’s secretary informing Emi that her father left a huge debt. In the rest of the series, we see that all the women work together to capture Emi’s brother. Emi is repeatedly seduced by these four ladies and called Amy. She discovers that some of her fantasies may be real. And ultimately no one even knows where Emi’s brother is and after finding him, he leaves anyway. Overall, it’s very confusing.

Most of the characters seemed quite dazed and distraught. It seemed like they were as confused by the plot as I was. The characters weren’t very attractive, but they had fairly large breasts. The art style is very typical of a late 1990s anime, with lots of sharp edges and pointy chins. All the women seem to have Western characteristics. The censorship is very extreme, no risks were taken. This anime includes small amounts of bondage and incest. As well as a fairly significant portion of seduction and lesbians.
